FUNIERICE

Suspended between heaven and earth, the Funierice is a very suggestive way to reach the medieval village of Erice starting from the city of Trapani.
In a journey of just 10 minutes, you can fly over Mount Erice and admire the enchanting panorama of the Trapani area from above, even managing to glimpse the Egadi islands in the background. A real emotion to experience for the whole family. We recommend avoiding the sunniest hours of the day in the summer months.

Instead of the classic boat trip, we recommend that your children experience the original fishing tourism, in which, in addition to the classic swimming stops in the most suggestive places on the coast (Tonnara di Scopello and Riserva dello Zingaro above all), your children, like real fishermen, can try their hand at hauling in the nets and recovering the day’s catch.

It is advisable to visit in the months and at times of day that are not too hot, as there are no beaches inside and it is not even possible to enter with means of shelter from the sun such as umbrellas, etc.
